Astoria Youth Baseball Support – Follow Up

Astoria Youth Baseball had a successful year! They provided PNWCWOA with a thank you letter and team picture. PNWCWOA’s donation was used to purchase a used lawn mower to keep the field ready, and a new BBQ grill, used in the concession stand which raised funds to support the program and maintain a youth scholarship.

Supporting Astoria Youth Baseball

PNWCWOA recently made a donation to support the local Astoria Baseball League. The donated funds were used to purchase new grills for snack shacks where proceeds go toward youth scholarships. Funding also replenished red rock on two fields and provided an abundance of baseballs. The league was extremely grateful to the CWO’s and thanked them after a game where they ran the snack shack.

CWO Amerson and CWO Weller are greeted by thankful ball players.

May Meeting

May 30th, Thursday at 1100, at Hop-N-Grape in Longview, WA.

Greetings CWO’s,

There will be a change to the May CWOA meeting so that we can do a consolidated meet up.  We will need to do a consolidated meeting in order to vote on the Summer Camp Scholarship submissions.

This month we will hold the meeting on Thursday the 30th instead of the normal third Thursday of the month.

We will gather at the Hop-N-Grape in Longview, WA.  The address is:

924 15th Ave

Longview, WA 98632 (On Google Maps)

All CWOA members in attendance will enjoy a free lunch, so please attend if you can.  We are hoping to have the new shirts available so bring some extra money to make your purchases.

We will be sending out an agenda soon, that will also serve as an additional reminder for the meeting.  We will be reserving a GV to drive down from Seattle, so any active duty/reserve/GS civilian in the northern region that would like to ride with us are more than welcome.  Please contact ISM3 Eric Wilson so that he can get a head count and reserve the appropriate sized vehicle.

Best to you all,

PNWCWOA B.O.D.
